Is anyone else kinda getting tired of Halo?

Yes, I know Halo is like the most popular franchise ever, but I have to say, maybe they(Bungie) should move on. I'm sure they have the knowledge and tools to make new games or start new series', but it just seems like Halo is one of those franchises that every game is almost the same. I used to like Halo when it first came out, but over the few years I have developed a haste for Halo. I think it might be a little overrated. It also seems like Halo is one of those series' that can seem like it's almost over or seem like it's over, but they keep coming out with one more after another. I know since this is an Xbox 360 forum that nearly all of you like Halo, I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same as I do. Maybe I'm talking out of my ass, I dunno...

I don't know about everybody here, but I certainly don't care for Halo 3 at all. At first I liked it, but that ship sailed long ago.

yes I agree I have not picked up Halo since getting COD 4. And will be playing RBS Vegas 2 as of March 18 so doubt I ever play Halo 3 again might even trade it in.

i wouldn't say i despise it. it just don't like it, and that is probably due to the fact, no matter how much i play, i never get better at it. And i just don't think it is very fun.

I played some Halo 3 last weekend because COD4 doesn't offer splitscreen, but the experience was meh. Thank God my buds came with *ahem* party favors.

and yeah i grew tired of halo before it came out, right around the point that i couldn't do ANYTHING without having the halo hype thrown in my face from one direction or another

Halo started out as a pristine little angel; a virgin with pure thoughts. but by halo 3 (with the help of colossal pimpage by the boys in the Microsoft camp) , it has become a disease-ridden slut of the gaming industry that everybody has, atleast, taken one round to the bank. you know she’s got the skills in the sack…but damn, you’ve just seen too much (and too often) for that to excite you enough. The same old aint bad; hell, it’s damn good (with the adjustments and tweaks). But in the end of the day it is just that, the same old with a bit of eye liner and foundation. (but forge and recording matches and screenshots are a brilliant addition for those who play online).

-After it was all said and done, bungie and MircoHardOn made some substantial money, and figures is what it’s all about.

You'll still get a big number of Halo fanboys defending it, hopefully they will all stay playing it while we enjoy the superior COD4 and Rainbow Six LAS Vegas 1 + 2.

I was sick of halo way before scott wouldn't stfu about it(and thats a long time ago).

The hype and silly review scores just look so dodgy right now.

Meh, you know damn well I was saying it was overhyped(while getting flamed by scott,joel,hollywood and other halo fanboys constantly) well before halo3 was realised, and I did buy it, played it and traded it in.

I bought it cos I knew 99% of my friends list would be playing it, I didn't want to be a billy no mates. The co op was excellent (TTK FTMFW) but the multiplayer is anul and full of annoying under 13s.

well said, thats what i done aswell.
I will admit i did have fun with TTK, but once u get co-op done theres nothing else to do.
