Posts: 345 | Steelers failed to address what they need the most- offensive line. Mendenhall was a good pick, especially for their 2 back game they run. But Limas Sweed's draft stock was plummeting before the draft and I'm not too convinced he will be a great NFL receiver. Dennis Dixon may not even make the team, he had a bad knee injury and Charlie Batch will continue to be their backup. The team that I thought had the best is the Chiefs. They got multiple first year impact starters in Dorsey, Flowers, Morgan and Albert. I think the Bengals had a pretty good draft to. Rivers will fit in whatever scheme they run and has a good chance of being the defensive ROTY, Simpson has great hands and leaping ability and should turn out to be a great NFL receiver, Sims will be an impact D-lineman at a much needed position and Shirley could be a monster if he stays out of trouble (but what Bengal does?). |
