yeah man, its mostly the memories i think, i had it on my atari as a kid and played it for hours and i'd love to play it again.....but then again i said that about paperboy, bought it and played it once.....it was much cooler in 1994

Double Dragon was one of my favourite games for the NES. I didn't even know it was coming to arcade. Theres always good news everyday despite the bad.

Can't help thinking that it is going to suck like the majority of 'retro' games. They are great at the time, but when played again, they suck. Don't bother giving me the 'it's the simplicity that makes them great' because that is bollocks.

Turtles was great in the arcade, crap on 360. Paperboy on the Spectrum was cool. Absolute garbage on the 360. Gauntlet blah blah blah etc etc etc

Worms is/are cool, but they could have added a few different bits to it. I know that it was a straight release of the original (of whatever version it was) but it wouldn't have hurt for a few more weapons.

Double Dragon is a waste of points, mostly for the reasons you outline here. It was fun to play one time, just for nostalgia, but it has ZERO replay value on the 360. 400 points for 20 minutes of play!

well no but these games arent what the arcade is about, the basic simpleness that your complaining about is what the arcade is about, if you dont like that then dont play on the arcade, its all about retro games that you used to play as a kid but miss becuase you sold your old console for money towards the next, if u dont like the retro games dont buy them, simple
