This game blows

Thats right i said it...and if your offened kill yourself but feel free to disagree which u will...I just dont see why its better than so many other shooters first of all it takes so many bullits to kill one player in single player and downing someone in multiplayer? thats just wierd

And wtf is active reload? reloading you bullits a certain way doesnt make them more powerful

Graphics are great dont get me wrong but ghost recon advanced warfighter single player is better......you get more control over your squad over everything and can get the point and shoot pop-out action as well.

Maybe its just not my kind of game ill take call of duty 3 anyday of the week.

I would not say it "blows". But do agree to some extent. I think all the hype almost tried to make it seem like GOW was the end all of best games ever. And I do think it is a great game. Graphics, game play, sound, all good. But I don't necessarily think it is head and shoulders above all the rest. So I guess what I am saying is yeah it is good, but so is RB6V and COD2/3. I have no problem recommending it to people. As long as I get to list the others in the same category.

As for the active reload, I actually thought that was great. To my knowledge it does not make your bullets more powerful. Just gives you a slight advantage or reward in a faster reload. I like that better then just "push B to reload" and wait. IMO, that was something that I would consider innovative.

Then again, not every game is for everyone.

People tend to hate Gears when they die constantly online and have to wait for the next round to die again. Ofcourse reloading your bullets a certain way doesnt make them better...who cares? Does Halo suck because theres no such thing as grenades that stick to you when hit by them? nah.

When I got my 360, I traded in GRAW and Arcade Unplugged for GoW. I just didn't get that feel of fun on GRAW. I'm sure I'm not the only gamer that doesn't like his shooter to be a realistic experience and GRAW just felt frustrating in it's control scheme for me. GoW's learning curve was better and now that I know all the In's and Outs of the game (thanks mostly to fellow online gamers) it's a lot of fun; the most fun I've had with a shooter since the LAN games of Quake at my college years ago. Everything has it's learning curve, but not every game blows. We may be birds of a feather as far as gaming goes, but we're breadths apart in our tastes. Keep at it, I'm sure you'll find something in there you like. That said I shoud probably give GRAW2 a chance when it comes out.

GOW is pretty crappy actually. The online is very glitchy and unpolished. Boomshot without splash damage? Why not call it a Torque Bow+? The Lancer sometimes takes a ridiculous amount of shots to get someone down, sometimes a whole clip and they're STILL running away from me. Single Player is AWESOME, but that multi is balls!

I consider a person's opinion when they use proper grammar, sentence structure, and also when they know how to spell the words "offended", "bullets", and "weird" correctly. Sadly for you, that is not the case. For the time being, I will say this: Gears of War does not blow, in fact it's one of the best games I've ever played, and the only thing that does blow is your moronic opinion which we all have zero exigence for. Please re-enroll in your local high school so you can educate yourself accordingly. Then take a nap and a Tylenol and play Gears of War again.

personally i agree, gears of war really sucks. all it proves to me is that if you hype up lame crappy stuff enough then the majority of people will see nothing but greatness in it. they could of spent months hyping up something boring like rockstar table tennis before its release and would probaby be the most popular game on XBL to this day.

in conclusion, GOW is the 50 cent of video games

Lol, I dunno I liked Gears of War. It wasn't God on Earth like it was made out to be, but it was still entertaining and had some great touches. Way too short though.

yeah it was definately way too short, me and my firend completed it on coop in a matter of hours. it was kinda entertaining though. i dont totally hate it, there are definately worse games out there but in my opinion it does suck pretty bad

Don't be mad because you can't deal with a game like Gears of War. Not everyone has what it takes to excel at the game. GRAW is great and CoD3 is fun so stay on those boards and don't come over here just to waste our time with your posts.
