Anyone still playing Quake 4?

Thinking about picking up a used copy. Its about $14. But if no one plays it online anymore theres no way i'm gunna play the campaign.

I bought it. It was released 4 or 5 days after the 360 launch so it was either that or Perfect Dark ....... I got both.

Not many people get on that anymore. I'd wait for Unreal Tournament III, or get Shadowrun.

I have it. Sadly I had more fun playing Quake 2 on the bonus disc than I had playing Quake 4...

The thing aboug quake 4 is that the enemies spawn in EXACTLY the same locations and pace every time. So passing through a level is NOT always about head shots, it's mainly about Knowing the enemies spawn locations and spawn triggers. So you're running down a hallway and you fires off a grenade at a closed door, but then it flies through the 'now opening' door and takes out 4 guys. The you whip out a shotty and start pumping fires into the location where the next guy spawns just before he spawns in... Lame concept for a game. I want my enemies to at least randomely spawn or jump around alot shaking their thang so I'm unable to fully predict them and kill them at will with any weapons because i know when and where to shoot...

The Q4 multiplayer is also TRASH because it's all about getting the power weapons that kill in 1 shot or .3 seconds of fire... its just Running down the hallways and unload everything you have at ANY movement you see.

I've heard this kind of stuff about Quake 4. So even for the cheap price that it is offered at I still would not consider adding this game to my collection.

beh, it sucked.. such a poor port of an only average game to start with. skip it, get GoW or something to tide u over till H3, UT3, and quakewars come out.

For $14, it's not a bad deal. But the game kind of sucked. A big let-down for me, seeing as I've been a huge fan/player since the Quake 1 days. But for $14, I dont find it being so bad; something to blow some time, or kill some ****. It's fast paced action online(if there are any players online anymore), but the single player game blew nutz.
