Posts: 3,822      |  iv never played any of them (besides a DA demo) so i cant really comment on this 1st hand, but from what iv heard from many people is that chaos theory is the best and will remail that way. i dont think i'v spoken to 1 person who thinks that DA or conviction could be the best in the series. that being said i'm definately gonna try out conviction and i'm probably gonna buy it along with DA and CT

Posts: 200 | I think CT is so highly regarded because it was a perfect combination of the gameplay from the earlier Splinter Cell games and very impressive graphics and AI. People tend to not like DA so much cause it kinda went in a different direction as far as the gameplay. I think that's a good thing as playing for both the good guys and the bad guys and trying to maintain the balance is a very cool gameplay concept. I'd actually suggest playing every game in the series so you'll have a real good understanding of what's going on and where the franchise has come from. |

Posts: 515 | I think because it seems to stray away from the tipical Splinter Cell games. It just seems like they are being adventurous this time around, and when alot of thought and ambition is poured into a game... things usually end up being fresh and new. Something a lot of people seem to think otherwise of in terms of games on the 360. I think it's going to be a great game. From what i've read, it does seem like a big change, but a big change that might end up being remarkable for this series. |
