really need some advice...

hey folks, i now this is definately the wrong place to be asking stuff like this but im in a trustle - its my video games mid life crisis

....

I was gonna get a 360 in a couple days, but then it popped into my head. When i had my wii, i was ALWAYS doing stuff on the computer - like online games. so i sold my wii because i didnt have any online games but the online games stink so you got it...

Now im in a trustle - what if i buy a 360 and i dont play it i stay on my crappy computer? So now i dont know whether to like get a new dell inspiron or something and play games like World of Warcraft or get a 360 and go live.

The thing is only 1 of my friends has a 360 and he doesnt have xbox live.
A couple of my friends play WoW

I just dont know which one will be more fun.

I mean is there always someone to play with on xbox live? is it fun playing with a team on halo 2?

Cuz i know World of Warcraft is really fun.....Help me out here convert me to a side, cuz once i pick i prolly wont change my mind....

Let the matches begin (and even though this is a 360 site, give me a little leanience cuz i really like World of Warcraft)

ummm im not trying to start a flame war, i put those on so i would fit in, i havent even bought a 360 yet and i really actually need some advice

relax someone will anwser your question, although all your threads and posts are asking people what games to get for your 360 and id say everyone has helped you by now.

i'm not gonna try to convert you, however, i will say the 360 is worth the money. more popular games like gears and the halo series draw a crowd on Live, as well as the Tom Clancy games. and yes, it's fun.

It's your money, so you are going to have to make a decision that you can live with. The reasons with I prefer the 360: it's much less expensive, you don't have to update video cards every 2 years, its more convenient when you are entertaining guests, I can play from my recliner or sofa instead of having my nose 18" from the monitor, features like the Video Marketplace and Live Arcade add value.

I wouldn't worry about friends too much. You'll make friends online by playing games, and also by meeting other gamers in these forums.

But anyway Josh, I recently bought an Elite as an alternative to PC. I was finding it hard to keep my PC updated so that it could handle the newest PC games, so i thought it would be a good idea to buy a 360. And I was not wrong.

The gaming experience is probably better than what I had on PC, afterall, the xbox is made especially for gaming, PC's are sort of an all round thing.

Graphics, game choice, liveplay, and High Def. gaming really make the xbox a great threat to PC gaming. Only thing that I didnt like was switching from keyboard & mouse, to gamepad, it kinda sucked at first 'kos getting headshots was no easy task. Piece of cake after a few hours of play though, my advice, get an Elite!
