Just talking to my friend on private chat , as he has got the game a day early . He did not sound too impressed , basically exactly like the first one . So i dunno whether i'll get now.

if he didn't know it was gonna be vegas 1.5 then he's a fool! i knew it was gonna be the same but vegas 1 was badass so i want vegas 2, if it's exactly the same it'll still be the ****! i got it today too but i aint played it yet, for some reason recovering my gamertag is taking years

I hope its the same as the first one. Too bad about only 2 player co-op campain but Ill still pick it up today. Looks like alot of Terrorist Hunt for me:-)

If it ain't broke don't ****ing fix it! Maybe they learned a lesson from Bungie because CE was ruthless but after all the tweaks, dual wields, sissy boom sticks, *** sniper rifle and all that **** it went downhill. If they would have made every Halo sequel with identical game play but a different plot, enemies, maps, et cetera it would have been that much better.

Yeah , but if true it is basically the same , why not just release it as a patch? Because to be honest I dont want to spend £40 on exactly the same game.

What did you expect? We're talking about Ubisoft here .. C'mon did you expect them to release an entirely new R6 experience? FFS look at their track record! Both GRAW 1 & 2 are damn near identical! I bought it because I enjoyed the first. If it plays similar to the first I get to play a game I already enjoy with new locals and a different story line.

I personally like the game more then the 1st Vegas, especiallythe new sprint feature to get out ofway of grenades. And if you sign up for ubisoft account you get a free map just go to extras menu and sign up and you get free streets map. Plus I got the free map from comcast for pre-ordering. So far I am loving the sequel.

here is how to get the free maps was posted on the rainbow six site.

Comcast Multiplayer Map
Step 1 Go to the Main Menu of Vegas 2
Step 2 Select “Extras”.
Step 3 Select “Comcast Gift”.
Step 4 Enter the code “Comcast Faster"
Download and play.

Streets Multiplayer Map
Step 1 Go to Main Menu of Vegas 2
Step 2 Select "Extras"
Step 3 Log into your UBI account via menu
Download and play.

For streets you have to make ubisoft account I think you can do right over live if not hop on internet and do it.

If you liked the LAS Vegas 1, LAS Vegas 2 is worth a purchase. Yes, the core game play is the same, but you can sprint (as mentioned), there's a thermal scan that gives you a temporary top-down map, the ranking system is much improved and you get to head shot Pepper Jack. What else could you want in a game.
