Thoughts on End War

I think this game is gonna be killer just from the few details they have released. I figured I'd pick up Halo wars but End War is gonna smoke it, even though I am a very large halo fan. What do you guys think of this game so far?

End War is going to be pretty sweet if the voice recognition turns out to be as good as they say.

The screen shots look promising, now I want to see some gameplay....GTA IV, End War, and Halo Wars, will be some great '08 titles that I will probably pick up.....

thats kind of weird how two of the big games for xbox 360 in 2008 are RTSs

It does look really good , just very cautious of the voice recognition , I personally think that could cause some problems.

i think the commands are pretty specific... like certain commands wont get misinterpreted and like cause an undesired action.. like something just wont happen and youll have to repeat the command... ive heard a lot of people talking about this.

I could just imagine it now. Someone is sitting their playing it and they say "All helicopters attack point A" and then you heard the game say "Nuke has been launched" And a few seconds your entire base is gone due to your own nuke. I would die of laughing.

Voice commands are the best part, you'll feel like a pro. "Build ten mammoth tanks" lol

Voice recognition technology has come a long way. I think it will work well for most people, though thick accents may throw it for a loop.

Bit too much of a statement there crossfire lol. But yes , I do think this game could be a breakthrough for RTS's on consoles if it works.

well think of it. if it works the next rainbow six game and ghost recon will probable have voice reconision and this is 1 step closer to virtual reality games. also this could be marketed to other RTS games and maybe even to MMO games as well. Heck theres a lot of possibility's
