yeah, the 360 version gets the over-the-shoulder third person view, but the xbox version get the gets the weapon-view first person. The 360 version get the stupid classic weapon-less first-person, and the xbox version gets a sprint button which the 360 doesn't.

If you check out the Prince interview video clip, he shows you on there that you can choose between first and third person as your main view.

Look at it about 15 seconds in and you can change from over the shoulder view to first person.

You get first person, but no gun will show.

I'm a big fan of first person... but over the shoulder just worked way better for me - you feel that action more. Especially when you get pinned when th efeces hits the oscillating device.

There is no sprint button in 360 as mentioned before unfortunately... but, who needs it, you can walk, jog or run by pressing the stick anyway... not to mention (Dont know if the xbox does this) skid or dive to a stop.. yeehah!
