came across a glitch in campaign.

I was playing "clear the way" mission (3rd from last) Its the mission where you start off on top of the roofs and need to clear 3 roadblocks for the tanks to go through.

The Glitch: I got through the 1st roadblock no problem and advanced my tanks. When I got to the 2nd roadblock I killed the 2 enemy solders from a far using my scope, when I reached the actual roadblock with my tanks and myself on the roofs it still didnt register that it was cleared. I couldnt advance because it kept giving the "you are out of the battlefield" msg. There was nothing left to kill, nothing, so I restarted the mission .. boo

This time I waited until I got close to the roadblock and took the soldiers out and it worked no problems as soon as I killed the 2 enemies.

So, I guess this is a little help sheet, when you get to this spot make sure you are within range to recieve the checkpoint.

Have oyu tried it again? You can't know for sure if that was what caused the problem. Thanks for the tip anyways though

no , I havent actually tried shooting them from afar again. But good point, I will try it again, should only take a few min to get to that spot.

Confirmed, A friend at work came up to me just now and said that he is having a problem with the clear the way mission. He then went on to explain that the 2nd baracade would not register as being cleared. I then asked him if he killed the antitanker and the soldier using the scope from far away down the road when you can first see them, he said yes. I told I had the same problem and had to restart the mission.

There are a couple of other glitches that I got as well. They weren't bad or anything and they actually helped out. Second to last level where you storm the parliament building to get to Ontiveros if you go ahead and send the APC on ahead and run directly for the door you'll encounter 3-4 baddies waiting for you. I only killed two and the third one popped me. When I started up again it said that I had cleared that part and I was inside the building. The other glitch was the last stage where Ontiveros is standing on top of the U.S. Embassy building (the one blown up in the VIP mission). If you run straight towards the bottom of the building and take out the first guy to the left, Ontiveros will fall and you'll see a video in your HUD of him taking the splat on the pavement.

Found another little one, on the last level when the Heli that Ontiveros is flying around and blows up your APC before you get to it. I was able to shoot that heli and explode it in mid air with my antitank gunner. Rocket launcher, boom, but Ontiveros didn't die. I don't get it.. hehe
