Graphics question

Hello all.

I went to my local game store today to see GRAW in action.

The controller was broken so I couldn't actually play, however, I saw a demo of it. It is the demo that comes up if you dont press anything for a while on the title screen.

I was blown away by these graphics.

Can anybody confirm if this start-screen 'demo' uses the in-game engine? i.e. are these the in-game graphics?

Trust me, I just purchased GRAW today and the in-game graphics are astounding. Games like this one are the reason I bought a 360.

I agree the graphics on GRAW are definetly next-gen, you wont be disappointed with this game, graphics or gameplay.

The launch screen demo is pre-rendered. But the level of detail is very similar to the ingame graphics. You will not be disapointed with this game by any means.

i bought it today and tbh im not to blown away by the graphics i was expecting somthing much better,bf2 on my pc looks alot nicer at the mo, dont get me wrong tough it looks sweet but to be realy blown away i must play furter in to the game i hear the weather effects are awson..? still only lvl2 but we shall see..

Well what way are you viewing it?
If in standard definiton no wonder BF2 looks better on your comp, try viewing BF in 640x480 then see how it compares

I am running in High def but with a scaled 1280x1024 onto a 1440x900 HDTV so it looks insane.

thanks for the welcom.. i will be buying a hi def tv in the nxt month or so so i will hold jugment of it cant wait for my hi def

ok the prerendered thing in mexico is like a 10, single player graphics are like a 9 and multiplayer are 8.5

With a high def monitor the line are more crisp, the colours are brighter and the next gen lighting effects pop off the screen. Trust me I had a HDTV and was running standard digital cable and the picture was so-so and I didnt understand the fuss about HDTV then I got the 360 and downloaded the Lion, the witch and the warddrope trailer and WOW what a difference in picture quatility over standard TV. now DVDs look like VHS. Anyways if you havent used a HDTV then a 360 on a standard TV will look excellent. I tried it to see if the picture quality was good or not and even on a standard TV the 360 really shines especially from the anti-alaising that smooths out the detail which plagued all past gen systems. Dont let the type of TV you own stop you from buying a 360 it looks beautiful on whatever TV you own. Cant say this about PS3 since you will need a HDMI to view the movies which make the overpriced blu-ray in the ps3 useless unless you own a HDMI- HDTV

Bah, that message before with all the smilies was by my friend, sorry guys. IF you see any smilies in my post, it's not from me, it's from my friend because he's too lazy to make an account.

Anyways, on my SDTV all the games look crisp and soon I'm buying a VGA cable to hook it up to my LCD computer monitor. It should look even better.
