GAMEHERD.COM is set to begin its first GRAW league match and we have room for 2 more teams. Some of the details are below. However, complete details can be found on our site.
It is time for the GameHerd GRAW league to begin! We were unable to get the desired
number of teams, but we can still make it happen with the teams we have. I don't
want to delay any longer. If any team has enough players to form 2 teams and is
willing to do so, let me know.
The plan is to kick off the season this weekend. This is what I need to make this
happen. Everybody who is interested in participating needs to reply to this email.
From this point on participants need to check the GGL league forums and league page
at
www.gameherd.com on a frequent basis for league news, schedules, results, etc.
You will not be receiving email for day to day league announcements. A group effort
is required to make gaming leagues happen, so check back frequently.
Team captains, it is your responsibility to have your teams ready for scheduled
matches. It is also your responsibility to uphold league rules. Important
information will be disseminated to team captains through the forums or GameHerd
private messaging.
A few of the teams have members who have not registered. Team captains, encourage
your members to register at GameHerd, so that they can receive important PMs from
the league office and participate in the forums.
Due to the fewer number of teams there will be an adjusted playoff format with fewer
teams qualifying. Format changes will be posted in the GRAW League forum.
One important topic I want to address is match settings. This tends to be the most
debated thing with online gaming. The match settings must be adhered to. Both teams
are at the same advantage or disadvantage. If you have suggestions you can post them
in the GGL General Discussions thread and they will be considered.
Welcome to the GGL!
