Opinions on the looks of the xBox 360

Hello everyone,
I was wondering what everyone thought about the looks of the xBox 360, In my opinion, it looks great, alot better than the PS3! Please share your opinions.

well chris, it's pretty easy to look better than something with spiderman font! lol!

but seriously, it's sleek, has a calming color, looks expensive and you can turn it on and off with the controller so you can be lazy as hell!

i like the power buttons cuz they glow!i also really like getting differ skins. i want the light blue squares skin

oh yeah! dude, i am getting the shiny steel like one! it's so cool...

i want to see if independent companies will sell skinz....

yea it would also be cool if they made skins based off of 360 games. Example:gears of war one side it shows the main character ( the one with the bandana on his head) and the other side it shows one of the monsters

XBOX360 looks better than the PS3.

I don't really like the off white colour of the 360. It's too ipodish - having said that I still think it's better looking than the PS3 *slightly bias*. The black concept of the 360 floating around is what im hoping to purchase.

yeah I agree on the black version, certainly looks far superior. Just a shame it was just concept art

. The off white 360 and controller just look a bit plasticey and cheap to me. The overall design of the 360 I'm pleased with and is far superior to the Xbox.

Yes, the original xbox design is poor. I hide mine away in a cupboard.

The 360 controller however looks like beautiful hand massage machine. I love my xbox duke controller and it seems like it still has some of those qualities.

a lot of people complained about it, but they just had to get used to it. after that, every other controller is rendered obsolete.

also, do you know how hard it is to open up the cheat menu in max payne with the controller-s?

Best design according to my biased opinion:

#1. Revolution
#2. Xbox 360
#3. PS3

I doubt a lot of energy was put into the PS3 design. The Spiderman font and bommerang controller were atrocious. Plus, the sheer size of the PS3 seems very un-gaming-ish. The revolution design is the epitomy of a gaming console. The Xbox 360 is easily a better design than the PS3, but not quite as cool as the Revolution. I do wish that the off-white color was not the default color. It should be black or maybe metallic silver. Sure, you can personalize it, but I'd rather just have black. The conclave design is... innovative, but not necessary, IMO.

I like the fact that black is not the default color. I'm sick of black consoles. I like the nice, crisp, clean look of the 360's white color and conclave sides. But the Rev's blue illumination light takes the title of best aesthetic feature.

onthe cover of time magazine, there's a pic of gates and a 360, it has a pattern of red/green/red/green and in real life it rotates to show loading time...there are others of course.
