has anybody updated a game and then lost achievements i did and lost around 900

yeah was on about 6950 then updated a game think it was virua tennis 3 now i am on 6110

Microsoft said that they were going to delete achievements that seemed to have been gotten by cheating or using glitches in the game to unlock them. by chance did you use some glitch to unlock those achievements that are now reset?

Was it a used console? If so maybe some of those achievements were from cheats and got taken off.
