Default Anyone thinking of jumping the 360 ship?

I just want to see if anybody else out there is thinking about telling MS to bleep off from having to deal with a broke ass system. I sent mine to be repaired and if this is going to be a quarterly habit I'm done. I'd much rather have a system that works and if MS can't provide that one "and by no means should it be a hassle" task I'll head over to a different system. True they have a shload of great games but I can always buy the system for cheap when they continue to fail their customers and it is no longer supported. I hope my fellow 360 owners are holding MS up to a simple standard of a decent running system. Just seeing if I'm alone here. Cheers to no RROD.

No. I'd rather not play anything at all than play Moto Storm or Resistance for the billionth time. As a matter of fact, I'd rather listen to Shane bash the US than buy a PS3 or Wii.

Ya for the moment it's slim pickings on the other 2 systems, it just sucks that the one that's worth a **** can't play games for more than a year. By no means would going to another system be an easy choice. The biggest beef really is how can we let a company dish us a big turd sandwich and let them get away with it? Other than the turd it is nice bread (XBL) and your choice of sandwich fixings (games) but no matter how good it's tasting there's still a piece of poo in there some where. Time shall tell. Maybe we'll get some good meat soon.

Cheers to no RROD.

We need Jack Black to swing by MS with that spray he invented............

What was that movie? Hmmm. It sucked other than the spray that makes poo disappear.

im not going to say your alone but your prob. in the minority ive had nothing but good dealings with ms. i've had my system since july and no problems i have 2 buddies who bought theres on launch with no problems and many more have bought in between and through all of them i only know of one of my friends to have had the 3rl problem and he got his system back within a week. ive made my choice and im going to stick with ms but i do plan on buying the wii just to play mario games. if nintendo would only license mario that would be aweosme. i guess it sucks for you if youve had that level of problems but ms has done a good job so far with handling this and once they start putting in the falcon processors (unless they already have) then it will be resolved. hope this one lasts longer bud

They redesigned the system to make it more stable, which has worked. They took a billion dollar hit on the income statement to repair consoles free of charge. They extended the warranty to an unheard of 3 years. They reimbursed customers that paid for repairs.

What exactly are they trying to get away with??????

To those who feel they have been screwed by MS need to google "PS2 disc read error" and find out about about that situation, compared to what Sony did their for their customers (nothing), MS are saints.

Good point Hollywood. Those same problems existed on PS1 as well, so why were they allowed to carry over to PS2?

My PS2 broke TWICE due to Disk Read Errors and Sony did nothing about it (luckily because of my mother's bank account we get a 5 year warranty on anything electrical/electronic).

They are all swines.

Lesser or two evils. In this case, it is undoubtedly Microsoft.

I am a pillar of light to which all righteousness shall bestow. I shall not be tempted by your swine fest trickery, but rise above it like a furious eagle after sweeping it's prey from the mountainside.

I'd settle for a few posts worth reading.

Why is an eagle furious after it has its prey in hand?

my 360 recently broke. i sent it in and 13 days later they sent me in a brand new one made 2 weeks earlier. hopefully this one lasts it should have the new heatsinks in it. oh i also have a wii and the time without my 360 was hell. i couldn't bring myself to play wii. and the ps3 will get good games in the future but right now i would rather have 3 xbox 360's than 1 ps3.
