Posts: 5   |  Gaming not Clear on my HDTV Need Help! I have my x-box 360 hooked up to my HDTV with the Component cables and the quality of the games are just crappy! Same with my Wii and PS3 all with component cables. (reb, blue, white and green) My TV does 480p/720p/1080p and I only have regular cable hooked up, no HD cable or satelite. Could that be the problem I am having? if not what else could it be? |

Posts: 5,094  | Last I checked the HD component cables for the 360 had 2 Reds, Yellow, White, Green & Blue. You may have them in the wrong slot .. My works fine. If you do have them in the wrong slot, which at one point I had, the picture quality looks terrible. |

Posts: 5 | I hope my TV isnt messed up its new just got it a week ago. The picture is fine on blu ray using my PS3 but there are jagged lines on everything while playing games on my 360/Wii/PS3 I'm using component cables on all three. Like I said befor I have regular cable hooked up no cable box or anything. |

Posts: 792  | a couple of my friends have the kind of plasma TVs that cut off a perimeter alla round the screen when playing games, so on Cod4 they only get to see 2/3 of their hud info...etc etc and it's just the way the TV renders.. no way around it. |
