Further to my last post (ages ago!!) i am still hoping on getting a Baseball game for my UK Xbox 360: I have just found "The Bigs" on play Asia which shows that it will work on PAL systems. Therefore can anybody tell me if this will definately work on a UK Xbox 360 please - i would be particullary interested to know if anybody in the UK has actually got this game and whether it works or not? Posts: 3,238  | I can't tell you from personal experience, but from play asia's site: NTSC-U/C implies domestic US & Canadian systems, NTSC-J implies domestic Japanese, Asian or Korean systems and PAL implies domestic European or Australian systems It would seem that it will work for you. Check their return policy and weigh the risk. It's too bad that an arcade style game is all you can find, although the game is pretty fun. I can't vouch for the 360 version tho.

Posts: 71 | Hi friedkarma, Thank you for your reply - I know i would have preffered MLB 2K7, but any will do so long as i can get one. Besides i might find the arcade version a bit more fun - years ago i had RBI baseball for the mega drive, this was also arcade style but great fun! The price of Bigs is £22.78 + £12.28 UPS shipping, the total is about the price of discounted games in the UK. As for the returns they will only change it if it is fautly - but will not if the box has been opened and the disc is fine. So in my case it could mean a probable EBay sale... Has anybody else got this game in the UK? Cheers, Balchers |

Posts: 828  | Dude, if it says PAL, it will work in UK and Australia. My local store imports from Play Asia all the time, and never had a problem. Boost

Posts: 71 | Thanks for all of your posts - when i get it i will check back and let you know if it works or not........ I am still slightly worried though because i have seen other forums saying that it will not work regardless of it being PAL compatible. Its out of stock at the minute and what with my house move that should give me little more time to make sure. |
