Default HD DVD Playback Issues

Hi,

I have a HD DVD drive for my 360. Well yesterday I decided to crack out a movie and watched a good hour or so of it. I had to go eat tea, so I shut down the 360. I came back later, reloaded the movie, went to chapter selection and chose chapter 15. The movie played for a couple minutes then started freezing and pausing like all buggery. I will try another disc tonight, but does anyone else have any freezing issues at all. The movie it was doing it on was the Bourne Ultimatum.

Spewing, it was really getting to be great, and the movie was climaxing, and my HD DVD was ****ting itself!

i got an hd dvd drive, but only 2 hd movies. i usually watch plane dvd's on it, and haven't had any issues. i did have an issue the first time i used it though, with the king kong that came with it...it wouldn't read it. popped it open and put it back in and it worked, and haven't been a problem since.

is the disc clean? maybe you could blow the lens off with some of that canned air (not suppose to use a brush cleaner).

i don't know if it would affect it, but were you downloading anything?

Perhaps your dvd players lens is dirty, if you've got a lens cleaner disc use that, maybe that could be the problem

Hi thanks for the responses guys.

Its pretty much a brand new HD DVD drive and brand new disc, first play so both units are flawless.

I did some research last night and apparantly chapter 15 of this movie does freeze for everybody. Its a flaw in the movie,. and pressing ffwd and play seems to unstick it. Or I can start watching from Chp 16 instead.
