Every single game I try to play, within 45 minutes of gameplay, freezes completely. No buttons work. The only possible thing to do is to shut the system down, and then try again. But it happens
every, single time.
Sadly it is past the 1 year manufacturers warranty.
But I don't feel very inclined to cough up $99 to have them fix this, as the representative told me on the phone. It's not fair, really. I tried every trick on the internet to get the sucker to play a game for longer then 45 minutes, but nothing worked.
I feel this stupid problem should be covered in the extended 3 year warranty. But I wonder; is this kind of constant freezing a precursor to getting the Red Lights? Obviously this has to be some sort of hardware issue...
I've also followed every possible solution at this link:
Xbox 360: The screen freezes
None of it helped.
Any suggestions or ideas? Comments? At this point I hate to say it but I really hope it gets the red lights. I just can't see myself paying them $99 for a problem that wasn't even induced by me. The 360 had a great life with great ventilation, and all of a sudden this happens.

PS If constant freezing is a precursor to red lights... is there any way to speed up the process of getting the red lights? I know, it sounds terrible, but I'm getting desperate...
