Posts: 38 | So DONE with 360 and Macroshaft! Well I just got my Xbox 360 back from "repair".
It only took 3 weeks and 4 days this time.
I open up the box and guess what?
They did not include my POWER SUPPLY cords that they requested be SENT IN WITH the unit.
No explanation, no note, no power cords, no PLAYING THE MACHINE!
This is the THIRD REPAIR that I have suffered thru on a 360.
(Each one more frustrating than the last)
After speaking with 3 different "customer service" morons,
I finally get a "supervisor" that informs me they:
"send the power supply units Back by US MAIL".
Neat.
I am done with the XBox 360 and MICROSHAFT altogether.
I will never buy another Microshaft product or "service" again.
Period!
Really a piece of dirt Hardware and even worse "customer service"!
As soon as I get the Power supply unit (in the mail?)
I will instantly SELL the entire system, games, accessories etc.
I am done.
(pretty much with console gaming as a whole)
I am sure I can find something better to spend my time and MONEY on than Bill Gates' FLOP of a game console.
What a PIECE OF ****!
I hope some "Terrorist" NUKES the Microshaft Campus!
I'll miss you guys!
Gunny

OMFG Josh, iworks is not business software.
In the future, before clicking "Submit Reply" ask yourself "is this post going to make me look like I haven't a clue what I'm talking about?"
Seriously...

I have nothing against Windows, but iWorks is great | Like any Apple product it more about flash and glitz. I'm sure its just peachy for presentations and similar business considerations, but it lacks in the ability to gather, manipulate and report out data. Like a 360 gamer picks up a Wiimote out of curiosity, I've played around with Numbers and it has nothing on Excel. Excel has more tools to filter, make formulas and the Pivot Tables rock over Apple's equivalent. Does Iworks even offer something to counter Access? It doesn't even support OpenOffice I'm told. I'm not an expert on many things, but this is one area where I am. A big part of my job is building and analyzing reports and forecasting trends for a company with 1,800 employees, manufacturing facilities in 4 (soon to be 5) countries, partnerships in 3 others and who's products are used in nearly every country in the world. My company lives or dies with good sales and market data, which is why my abilities have gotten me 2 big promotions in the past 2.5 years. I'm not bragging, I'm just saying if want to know about HD tv's, ask Scott, if you want to grow a business on good decisions based on analysis and data, talk to me. Your company needs to load Office on your Macs.

Posts: 853 | Im not trying to pick a fight , i just find it narrow minded that because you clearly rely on a peice of software, that you figure everyone in the world does, and therefor iWorks is not considered ''business'' software in your mind or a healthy alternative to Office in certain situations. Just my 2 cents

Posts: 2,812 | Karma, I don't know about your business **** and IDGAF. AS A STUDENT, iWork '08 ****ing tears MSO up, left, right, down, ****ing kitty corners. It is WAY easier to use and WAY better looking, and I can put out whatever ****ing data I want. Have you even used iWork or are you just being a biased prick? Jesus ****ing Christ. |

iWorks: Pages '08, Keynote ’08, Numbers ’08
looks like business software to me.
Office definitely includes more programs, but not everybody needs Access, Infopass, whatever the hell Groove is, etc. to run their company or do their job within someone else's company. i'll bet most of the guys that run Apple's multi-billion dollar company don't use Microsoft Office. |
