Default hd dvd drive

just wanted to know got the xbox 360 hd dvd drive and use a pal machine can i play us imports on it

really? I dont have the HD DVD addon but find it suprising that there is no zoning on it. So a PAL HD DVD player will play Zone 1 DVDs ? Figured it would be the same as the built in DVD player

yes i can understand that but gamestation in birmingham uk still sells the dvd,s for £4.99 all good films

are you talking HDDVD's or just regular DVD's ? HDDVDs have no zoning on them so should work fine from anywhere

there is no region coding on HDDVD.

Consumers spoke loudly against it - WE WANT TO BE LOCKED DOWN AND OVERCHARGED!

Yay!

Just goes to show how much ignorance there was in the so-called 'format war'...
