Posts: 2,538 | huh? no, its just a larger version of the little remote that comes w/ the premium pack. If you want a good universal remote get MS's Harmony series.. they are the god of remotes.... and u pay a godlike fee to have one! |

Posts: 952 | i have it and it sucks.
half the time it doesn't work - and it seems to drain batteries like it's going out of style.
just use your controller -seriously.

Posts: 828 | I have one and I like it. When I bought my HD DVD drive it came with one in that, cause the elite didn't have one.
Anyway, when they were selling HD DVD players for $35, I grabbed a spare HD DVD drive and it has the remote in it as well, which retails for $50 by itself.

Posts: 1,298 | Mine was absolute crap, it wouldn't work unless you were an inch away from the 360, bearing in mind i used the batteries they supplied. Like Rabbitc said stick with the controller. |

Posts: 2,538 | i have both the regular and extended remotes. They work just fine. If you want a "control all" remote, you need a harmony. My friend would kill for his. |

Posts: 853 | Is the remote that comes with the HD-DVD addon the same as the standalone "big" remote that you can purchase ? Or is it the smaller gimped version that came with the original Premium bundles?
Reason I ask is because you can pick up the HD-DVD bundle for $20 here now, and the remote itself is $30
Though to be honest I'm pretty happy just using my controller, I think the fiancee would kill me if i had another remote laying around, might have to check out those logitech harmonys ;P

It's a learning remote - right?
I'd need something that could operate at least 6 devices.

Posts: 2,538 | the harmony controls everything. I think it even bakes you a fat/calorie free cake for breakfast every day, shaves you, and drives you to work, as well as kisses you on the cheek!
Harmony, is the top of the line super remote. |
