Will Microsoft Help Me ?

Two Months ago my 360 was stolen , it was worken fine. Friday I got it back n it had 3 red lights n had been pried open n the warrenty sticker was gone. Called Microsoft told them n they said send it in, u think they will help me out or send my busted console back. Also the motherboard had holes in it n the drive had no screws in it. Hope they replace it n I get a system without a Lite-On Drive. What y'all think ?

Probably a 50/50 shot; depending on how nice the person who takes your system in. They may just fix it like it was any other red ring console but the holes in the motherboard worry me, the may mark it up as being "modded" and leave you out in the cold....

If so I would check with your insurance company and try to get it replaced because it was stolen and returned in an unusable condition.....keep us updated on the status and good luck!

Insurance Company said that I can't prove my system was busted before it was stolen.

they operate like any company. they have to stay in "the black" and out of "the red". if they even think they smell BS, they wont pay. if they paid for everything that came across their door, theyd be out of business.

UPDATE: Microsoft has received my 360, Just waiting to see if they Repair/Replace or Reject.

i hope they replace it, but i'm betting that once they open that sucka up and see the holes and lack of warranty sticker they are gonna punt it right back to your door, where did it get sent to? mine went to frankfurt, germany

why the hell would the thief drill holes in your motherboard anyway? lol

UPDATE: My Repair/Replace Status says my console was replaced n shipped back to me. Maybe cause of the 3 red lights they just give you a new console without looking at the old one.

But will have to see that they didnt return my junker to me, pray for new system without a Lite-On. UPS says "Signature Required" so maybe it is a new system.
