xbox 360 on macs

is there a speical adaptor to play the 360 on a mac?and if there is what is it

I doubt it. You can buy a VGA cable to play it on a monitor though.

You can use the 360's VGA cable that is going to be available at launch. Since Apple never wants to adhere to any kind of standard, you should be able to use a mac to vga adapter.

Any information about DVI connectors ( those cables i see online are just normal VGA connectors ).

All I would need to play Xbox 360 on my Apple Cinema display is VGA adapter? I would have to unplug everytime to switch from Gaming to Computer?

Just like with the mac to vga adapter, you can use a dvi to vga adapter. Be careful on where you get those adapters from though. If you try to get any kind of adapter from Staples, you get ripped off.

ok, I have a couple of things to answer here.

1.) the apple g5 xbox was the alpha kit. I thought just about everyone knew that. Anyways, that doesn't automatically mean you can hook up your xbox360 to a mac.

2.) I highly doubt you'll be able to, because it does require a different kind of read-out between the two. they each will have different servers, so I'd like to see how that will work out.
