I hope that they release a 60 as well as allow you to transfer the info from on to HDD to another.

Its interesting that though becasue I think the sizes will get much bigger. The main idea being that if you buy a game you download the rest on xbox live so you can have games much bigger than 7GB Similar to Half Life 2 but on a much bigger scale.

I don't think M$ would hype the 360 up now so much without HD-DVD it would seem pretty stupid to bring it into thier models in a year or so. I mean just imagine after the first year of having the original Xbox you had to get a new one because all the discs changed?

HDDs are gonna get bigger I reckon with the massive emphasis on Xbox Live and being that the HDD is the only potential upgrade to the console thats where its gonna go!

20 gigs should be fine.

Unless we see games + movies downloadable off Live before the end of this gen. then it will be kinda small.

20 gigs is enough for me. There will be 40 gig, 60, 80, etc. They may have the HDD for downloadable games on Live that you will have to buy (not Xbox Live Arcade).

I think 20GB is plenty. I don't see why we should ever need more

"640k is more then enough".

How long do you think it will take to fill up there hd. Remember, its 18GB you have, not 20GB ( 2GB reserved for caching ). And of course you need to take in account that it needs the 1024 divider, not the 1000 that manufactures use.

A bit of themes, life games, saves, mp3's, movies, and your hard disk is full fast. There is a unspoken rule, the smaller your hard disk, the faster you get it filled up

Just having your mp3 collection on it will make a few gigs i bet?

I find 20GB a mistake. The 40GB version are almost identical priced, but if they sell 40GB, it will take people longer to fill it up & go out to buy a 40 or 80GB version ( sinds you are forced to buy MS there HD's, thanks to locks in place so you can't use your own hd's ). O yea, its going to take me long to order that mod chip so i can use my own way more cheaper 160GB hd's on it ... not

A PC OS is only between 0.5 & 1.5 GB ( depends between what version & how long you have been running it ).
