well if you actually can afford any of those go for it, otherwise there are plenty more that are in lower price ranges that will work just as well

Well I actually have the samsung 23" currently using it as my PC monitor and TV in my bedroom, and of course gaming. So I can recommend that one as its very good. I bought it at Circuit City. I originally left with the 26" Panasonic (just like the 23" you have a link too) I didn't like it solely because I couldn't use it as a PC monitor. But its picture was pretty much just as equal to the Samsung. So I would say read the two's available options and see which fits your needs better. Since honestly they are very similar in picture so both will look great. Stay away from the phillips, I'm not big on that brand run into a lot of odd problems with them and picture quality was never top of the pack.

So yeah go with the Samsung or Panasonic both are great. They just have slightly different inputs on the back so see which you'd like better. You also can always head to a Bestbuy Circuit City or the like and see the two side by side as they have those models. I'm currently loving my Samsung since it makes such a nice huge PC monitor lol. I had the 26" but took it back as it was just too much. And if I want "big" I just go downstairs to watch my plasma

I recommend Samsung at this point. They are in a battle with SoOny for the #1 TV position, the nice thing is that Samsung is offering more per dollar because of the competition with Sony. I bought a 30" HDtv with a built-in tuner from Samsung because it offered more features than the Sony version going for the same price. Bang for buck, SAmsung is the way to go right now, IMO.

If space isn't a concern, and you are looking to get a 25-32" HDTV, would you be better with a CRT or a LCD, based on picture quality alone?

for HDTV its really a toss up as sony and a few others do make 32 and 36" HDTV CRT's, they are 4:3 however and show true HD signals with letterbox so its not technically what you'd want to call HD but it does have the resolution. It just depends really, go to a store and check those models next to the LCD's. The price of course is going to be more for the LCD's but in that size it wont be too bad actually. in fact the 26" lcd's would be cheaper

yeah if you go with an LCD like the samsung I got or even a similar style the difference between the "23 and the "26 models is small. Its just a little taller and a hair wider for the larger set. Still the same size slimwise etc so just go check out what you like best at the store
