Default Media Center in the 360

I was looking at the 360 capabilities with Media Center. I see I can do most things when I am connected to a Media Center PC (which I don't have), but you can connect to a Windows XP PC right ? If so what features do you get?

you can stream music and images just can't stream the videos or TV and such without media center. All you need to do is go download "windows media connect" I made a post about it down below a few weeks back. Major Nelson talked about it in his blogcasts how those of us with just XP home and Pro would still be able to connect to our 360's and stream the music and pictures

You have a link to this? I like the sound of this, but I am sort of confused by the whole media center thing.

EDIT; Oh thanks Cybergig . I found it on google. It seems you can have a sort of Media Center experience with Windows Media Connect.

Yup you do get a Media Center experience with Media Connect, you basically get everything that Media Center gives you, but you don't get access to any TV recording or playing videos through the 360.
