I just read that the XBOX 360 hard drive was 20 GB. Does anyone know the size of the xbox standard hard drive.

O and yes there will be hard drives with much higher capacity

The original Xbox has a 8 Gig hard drive. The Xbox 360 will ship with a removable 20 Gig hard drive. Rumor is that a larger perhaps 40 Gig will be available the following year. Hope this helps...

the standed for the 360 is 20gb. there will also be 30,40,and 60 gb hard drives. there will be 64 mb memory cards at the lowest mb

8 gb. is the size of the xbox hdd

Theres a couple of these posts about standard memory on core systems. heres a good bit of advice......read the box!!! one has memory one doesnt.!!!
