what can the 360 do with an ipod? can it play the songs? also can it rip the songs from the ipod to the 360?

It can play the songs, and you can move them onto the 360. That's all I know on it now.

Cool, I have an iPod and it will be awesome to play the songs on the 360.

Yes, with all MP3 player (including the Apple iPod) you will be able to listen to the music on it or rip it onto the hard drive via the USB 2.0 ports on the front of the console. From there you can use custom soundtracks in all games on the 360, that's right every single game! (sry to sound all formal but it made me feel official for a bit lol)

Just think of the possibilities with that option - you could play Quake 4 with the Pokemon theme in the background, or Resident Evil 5 with a Tweenies themetune.

i have an ipod mini, so i'm just gonna rip all my music on to my 360
