Posts: 236 | MS has not confirmed nor denied the support of "True" force feedback support:
"We believe force-feedback is very interesting, and we plan on launching force-feedback peripherals after launch." Says Microsoft spokesperson, when asked again the question of force feedback. The real question stating, will the Xbox 360 feature "true" force feedback peripherals such as racing wheels? Although to this point Microsoft has yet to acknowledge an actual answer of yes or no and stands uncommitted to a first party manufacture the quote from the Microsoft Rep. States that they plan to launch force feedback peripherals after launch. But a true to tale answer is yet to be given. However it seems that several third party manufacturers have already begun work and test on several peripherals including a Project Gotham 3 racing wheel. Hope to see an actual licensed first party product as I know MOST products that seem to be licensed as a first party device by MS seem to be true to quality and are what gamers are looking for.
Everyone is speculating/hoping the 360 will support force feedback since the original xbox did not. |
