Yes it will still look better then the xbox 1 but you will not get the full experience unless your in HD. Just get one and plan on getting an HDTV in the near future if possible.

I've got a 32" sd tv and it looks great. I definatly plan to upgrade to a big screen HD eventually tho. If you worried about missing out on something don't, the 360 still kicks ass on anything. I think ms made it hd to keep it future safe... so in a couple of years when everyone has an hd set it'll still kick ass!

I got a t.v. that is like ten years old in my room but playing the 360 on that is just as fun as it was playing it on my projector in the living room. It is just as fun but the graphics are noticable crisper on HD.

My SDTV is fine for the present, but I will upgrade to an HDTV in the future. BTW playing on a regular TV still looks amazing.

I just play on a standard CRT, i think that it still looks and plays amazing on it. Wouldn't mind owning a HDTV, but oh well i'm not that worried.

You could also buy a cheap 19" flat pannel monitor for around $300 USD. I think the difference is like night and day but the gameplay is all the same.

Right now I have a 28" CRT and I think it's fine, but in a near future I'll get a HDTV.

I dont have my hdtv yet only 500 for a base hdtv, but I have to pay to finish the basement in my house (theater room) B4 I fill it with new toys. But Im playing my 360 on a 32" sony CRT it looks fine, but not nearly as nice as it does on a HDTV.

yeah i have a 21' samsung crt and it still looks good and if you hear people saying that without a hd tv it will look like an original xbox game dont believe them but like everyones saying plan on geting a hd tv sometime in the near future what i would do is just start saving now and when your ready start reasearching on the kind of tv that fits you.

Surface conduction electron-emitter displays. You won’t see them in the consumers hand till 2008. Maybe.

Well, If I'm getting a HDTV it's going to be a good one, not the cheapest.

true but i still think that CRT HDTVs have the best picture quality, even though they are cheaper. They are just a bigger tv and can only go up to 34" widescreen.
