Question 360 Harddrive
ok i was wondering if anybody elses harddrive came out of the box with only 11gb of storage space availble

i just figured it was all the emulation software and what not

but now im not so sure

Just delete the videos and music that came preloaded in the hard drive. That will give you some bit of extra space.

Yeah they say it is a 20 GB HDD but there are only 13 GB of usable space.

I had mine down to 4 gig after installing that Final Fantasy beta crap, then back up after i deleted that final fantasy beta crap

they didn't lie they said it was coming with a 20 gig HD they also said there would be content stored onto it.

there is a ton of music already on the hard drive when you buy it, plus like four videos( inside look at 360, Rebuilding the Titanic, etc....)

I deleted the James Cameron "Titanic" bit and the inside the 360 stuff too. I kept the Adidas commercial and the Snowboarding thing as well. All the music is still on my harddrive as I have yet to edit out the stuff I don't like.

But, I have 13gigs of free space left even after downloading 6 arcade games. Not sure if I will need to upgrade or not. I guess it will depend upon how much they start to offer through the Marketplace. If movies/full games/music become available... I'll be in trouble.

i no they said it had content on it but it shoulddove been 20gb WITH the content included..i find that very low move
