Posts: 142 | From my experience a monitor sharpens the image but the colours appear washed or less vivid. Personally I stick with my TV because the clarity is worse but the colours and size are much better on the TV. Depends on your set up too which is best.
I have a joytech adaptor so the colour loss may not be a problem on the official VGA adaptor. Also as a warning my Dell monitor won't connect to my 360 but I don't know how common that is.
Edit: In case of confusion I was comparing the monitor to my normal TV not an HDTV.
