I'll try to be as unbiased as possble.
1) It depends upon what you mean by more powerful. This has been the subject of all sorts of debates since specs for both consoles were released. The general consensus right now (keep in mind that this is all based upon what the marketing departments of both companies have released about their consoles) is that PS3 will be able to crunch more numbers a second. So if that's your only criteria, then PS3 is more powerful. But the 360 has a lot of things that help it perform well other than pure FLOPS performance. So to answer your question, until games come out, this question is unanswerable.
2) How can you say that the 360 is better than the PS3? There's been almost no gameplay shown of the 360, and virtually none on the PS3. Let alone having played the games personally. Until both systems are in your hands, I'd reserve judgement about which is "better". It's just speculation until then (or fanboyism)
3) Depends upon your taste in games. PS3 will almost unquestionably have MORE games, as they have the least regulations about their developers and always have had the highest volume of games produced. This does not directly corrilate to quality though. I spend almost all of my time playing XBox (lots of Halo 2

). But to everyone their own. My roommate spends most of his time playing GT4. What is important is that BOTH companies have strong lineups...you can't look at either console and say "I'm not getting that because there aren't any good games".
4) Again, they are very difficult to compare without having people that develop for them saying how each performs. But on paper, I feel that the PS3 has the more powerful processor, while the XBox 360 has the (slightly) more powerful graphical subsystem (I think the embedded framebuffer ram gives the XBox an edge). There's lots of info on this in these boards, so take a look.
5) Seeing as how I don't believe 100% of the XBox's power has been used so far, I HIGHLY doubt 100% of the potential of the 360 will be used (same goes for the PS3). It's mostly a time and money issue. It's easy to make the hardware run at 100% by throwing more geometry and effects at it until you are utilizing all the hardware all the time. But to use it all efficiently is the key. There are plenty of games with mediocre graphics that have framerate troubles while other games with stellar graphics run without a hitch. To invest the amount of time and money it would take to optimize a game's engine to run at "100%" of what is possible would be nearly impossible.

7) In a word, yes. For the lazy developers, this will probably mean putting more enemies on screen running the same type of AI running on the last gen systems. For the good developers, this means that enemies will be able to consider more options, think furthar ahead and perhaps even start to implement less scripted AI. But overall, this should be one of the top areas of improvement with the next gen systems.
