My Place was built in the 70 so it only has 1 central phone jack in the kitchen. My PC in located in the living room so I've had to spend $20 buying a 50 foot cable and running it along the ceiling, down a doorframe, along the baseboard through a hallway, behind a couch and finally to my PC totalling about 40 feet, My 360 is located about 20 feet away from my Modem/PC so I have had to buy a 25ft Cat6 cable which travels 20 feet over to my entertainment center.

If I was rolling in cash I may have just tried to go wireless all around but seeing as i'm poor I just go with cables. Also cables don't lose their connection every time it rains or a neighbor is using a microwave or a wireless phone... etc etc etc..... 25ft cables are about $10-$15 compared to a wireless adaptor at $99.
