I hate the price drop in games!

One thing I realy dont like about buying games for the 360. Everytime I buy a game close to release, 3 months later its going for half the price i paid....Is this ensentive to buy on release? Not me, Not anymore!

Tell me where you are shopping, i'll go there, because here, like Josh said, gears is still 60 bucks. The only games half price are platinum hits, and none of them are remotely new games. There are some games cheaper, but those tend to be the crappy ones people wouldn't buy if they weren't cheap.

K, in Sweden a new 360 game is 699kronors. Give it a few months, and it's 300-400 kronor. Which pisses me off, since the game could've cost 300-400 in the beginning, those 300 kronor are just profit. ****ing turbobitches.

Ok, badly formulated. Those 300 kronors are extra profit. They would still make profit if they sold the games for 400 kronors.

Since I usually wait a while to buy most games I don't mind the drops in price. I would have to say it usually does take a little while like Blasterpez said. Most games I see that are at least 6 months old still hover around $60 unless they are platinum hits.

who cares how much the games are. people will still pay for them. even if they wait until the price drops they get carpal tunnel from playing it for so long...both ways we're still getting screwed.

It's called self-restraint. If you want a game but hate the £40/$60 price-tag, just wait a couple of weeks then buy it. That's what I do usually.

Wish prices dropped that fast here. some take a long time, and some don't come down ever, or until the sequal comes out. finally found vegas 1 for sale for 40 bucks, first time i have actually seen it in the store. and gears is still 60, and that will most likely drop a couple weeks after gow2 comes out.

i think he means buying 2nd hand after some people have returned them, prices don't drop that fast here. and your games are cheaper than ours anyway
