Default a really important question

hi. yo i just gotta new isp and im gunna use it for 360 live. i gunna be using a linksys befsr41v3 wired router. im gunna be playing Halo 2, PDZ, GR3, CoD2 online and while my sister will be on mozilla firefox and MSN MESSENGER and even AIM. this is my connection, is it good enough?, and how much connection does the 360/ xbox 1 need.

Ya. Cable right? If you had 100 computers in one connection, it wouldnt affect your game.

I'm on BT Yahoo with a speed of 1mb and Me and my brother have a live account each and one internet account all from the same connection it dosen't lag or affect anything at all.

xbox live is legal taking music off limewire is Illegal diffrence between you and sister, sister will get lawsuit you won't. Use that argument By the way I think you be fine with the connection I wouldn't worry.

You'll be alright as long as the surfing the others are doing doesn't contain too much IP or UDP traffic. Those linksys models have a set amount of memory for the TCP, IP, and UDP stack. You also could run into a problem where the cpu of your linksys could become insufficient if one PC starts downloading something while you are gaming. I kept having problems with online gaming while others were using my 3mb dsl connection until I invested in a Cisco Pix 501. It was $400, but its performance is unmatched.

Lol... That's plenty good man. Do you have the 3.0 MBps modem or the 5.0 MBps? You can upgrade for about 40 $ if you don't.
