XBL 360 problems?

I have been gettign some XBL problems on the 360 with CoD2 sometimes, it will tell e my connection was interupted, ill get kicked from a game, or ill get disconnected from XBL and sometimes when I check the ping for everyone, its 999! And so far 2 times I was playing PDZ and when the match was over on live, my 360 froze up, but overall I havent had any problems during campaign, or singleplayer, just on live, I had been playing about 6 hours and nothing was wrong, do you think MS is having a hard time right now with setting up the 360 xbox live server?

I have had tons of problems on Live. I've only been playing PGR with my bro, but both of us have had live disconnects while playing. It also happened when I was just chatting so it's not isolated to PGR. It's hard to believe few people are having the issue, but both me and my bro (he's in atlanta I'm in sacramento) have issues.

Hmmmm...... I wonder since it's now hit the mainstream if the XBOX live network can handle the Bandwidth or usage? I too have had drops and spikes of latency!
More servers for replication please! :-)

I'm sure once the releases are finished GLOBALY - that Ol' Billy G and his boys at M$ will be hammering out all the imperfections!

well xbox live works fine was i get in a game. when i goto quick deathmatch in pdz, it searches, it starts connecting, and then it says failed to connect. then i have to try again. i get in alot easier with custom match. other than that no disconnects.

I hope I'll get no problems on 360.

The problem is people who host games that don't have enough bandwidth upstream to support the number of connected players. Poor network coding is the main problem.

well i dont have xboxl live or xbox 360 but if japan and america and europe are haveing these problems it would suck global

Night Owl - Everybody is experiencing the exact same problem especially during peak hours (right after 5:00 pm). Everybody who plays COD2 online knows this is an issue and when the lag starts to hit, everybody sais, "OK here it comes[lag]." We all know where your comming from. On the other hand, I still get some good online time with COD2 after peak hours with minimum to no problems.

I'm using a 700kbs cable connection wired strait to the router then wired straight to my 360. My PC has the wireless network card and I play Counter Strike Source online all the time without lag with 40+ players at the same time in one game session. Not to mention, Halo 2 amongst other original Xbox games play perfect without any lag problems so it’s definitely not any lagging connection on my part. Furthermore, it seems that many others are experiencing the same problem at the same time I do.

There is a theory that the first person in a game lobby is the one who hosts the game but I disagree. Xlive is all unified and the host is the game servers. I could be wrong about this but if anybody has any info on how it works exactly I would appreciate it. I think we need to get on Microsoft’s case about this problem because I’m reluctant to pay for a lagging online service. Ouch, that hurt me to say that.

yo i have the same "Freezing" problem with NFS Most Wanted...after i finish the race it happens...Offline it workz perfectly.....i kno quite a few people with this problem...Ion care to play Most Wanted online...cuz the shiit iz very annoying...other games work perfect

i also have problems connecting to the network...i always have to go to the 360 dashboard and "Test Connection" just to get online.....this also getz annoying

Im on 100MBPS Ethernet (LAN) connection.
