Posts: 577 | They really need to work on the frame rate. No reason why a next gen game should drop below 30. That and the fact that you touch the steering and you go sideways. Other then that it looks great, and if they can iron out the frame rate issue it should be a solid game.
Off subject, everyone who says live is slow must have dsl. Cause I dl'd that in 10 minutes. |

Posts: 450 | How bad are we talking for a frame rate here? Can you really notice it?
off subject, very true Ive never had a demo take more the 15-20 mins at the very most to download. most 10-15.

Posts: 1,440 | I think it sux, whats the point in this game? I enjoy blowing up other cars just as much as the next guy but the car handling is awful. They should have went the Twisted Metal direction and gave the cars some characteristics or something.

Posts: 723 | That's just it; its Twisted Metal meets Grand Turesmo. A racing game, with destruction! I expected there to be some control problems, but after playing it like 5 times you get the hang of them. The car handling was not bad, at least not to me. I found Need for Speed to have bad controls, but that’s my opinion. My only problem with this game is that they made it so you aim with the left stick, when you are driving. That makes it difficult, but FUN! BOOM!

I didnt find anything Twisted Metal about this game except for guns on cars. You cant really compare it in anyway to Gran Turismo either because all you do in this game is hit the gas and go, its closer to Burnout with guns. All I have to say is I wont buy this game and I was very disappointed because I was anxiously waiting for the demo.

Posts: 88 | yea, i played it once and i will probably never play it again. the frame rate issue is really annoying, i don't understand how they can release a demo with that kind of frame rate problems. blowing things up is fun, but i blew up 8 cars and had a pretty solid race and i still came in last. seems like to win a race you need to forget about blowing up other cars and just focus on the racing. i love twisted metal so i was excited to play this, but it let me down. |

Posts: 969 | They should fix the aiming with guns, and yes there are frame rates problems. But other then that it was fun. Now my question is how are they going to put the rewined affect in online muliplayer?

Posts: 3,229 | I thought it was a load of fun, but there is one or two things they could change.
1st the aiming is ok but u can only aim and ire one of the weapons, ie either the misiles with the red car or the shotgun with the yellow one, maybe make the two bumper buttons for the fire ones.
2nd i dont think they will be able to incorperate the rewind thing onto live, so they may have to remove it, like what they did on NFS MW (removing the time slower thingy).
Its only a demo so i doubt if the anti-aliasing has been used and thats probably y the frame rate is soo bad. The demo will be a developmental stage from a while back so many of the things we have a problem with wont be in the final game, well heres hoping. Demos only indicate feel for a game, and if they improve it even slightly i will certainly buy it |
