Default hardrive does it actually work? i need help
i have talked to many people from a few countries but not one seems to know or care that the built in hardrive does not work or if it does which i have contacted microsoft and they wont answer my question so if anyone out there knows tell me thanks

The Xbox 360 has no built-in HDD but an attached one on the top/end.

maybe he has an arcade model with no HDD?
